Saugus High School Cheer

Glenna has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 22 years and they have 3 teenage children all actively involved in athletics. She comes to us with 21 years of cheer experience between cheering, competing, coaching, parenting, and advising. Glenna’s interest in coaching was sparked in her junior year of high school when she was asked to help train a local private junior high cheer squad. After graduating from Village Christian HS she attended Fresno State University and participated on the dance team there, although cheer remained her passion. Glenna finished up college at CSUN earning her BS in Family Consumer Sciences all while landing her first High School Head Advisor/coach position at Hart High School. From there she went on to teach full time and coach the award winning cheer team at her alma mater. Glenna has spent the last 13 years actively involved in the lives of her own children. She not only enjoys coaching cheer, Glenna loves health & fitness and is eager to share her knowledge enabling these young athletes to obtain the next level within their sport. She is super excited to be a part of the Saugus High School Cheer competition coaching staff and looks forward to helping shape this team into well rounded competitors and individuals.
