COMPETITION COACH

Coach Candace has 18 years of combined cheerleading and coaching experience. She found a love and passion for the sport while competing in both all star and high school cheer. She is married to her high school sweetheart and is a mom to twin boys. She has a degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Northridge.

This is her seventh year coaching at Saugus High School, where she has led the teams to win multiple national titles.

ASSISTANT SIDELINE COACH

Coach Lauren, a passionate cheerleader since the age of 10, brings her expertise as a cheerleader back to Saugus High School as a coach. The 2023-2024 season marks her first year coaching at Saugus, where she eagerly shares her knowledge and experience and hopes to inspire and grow the love of cheerleading in others.

Lauren is currently studying marketing at Cal State Northridge (CSUN) and is also a member of the CSUN cheer team.

ASSISTANT COMPETITION COACH

Glenna’s cheer experience spans over 20 years of cheering, competing, coaching, parenting, and advising. After she earned a BS degree in Family Consumer Sciences from Cal State Northridge, she returned to her alma mater, Hart High School, as a head advisor and coach. Her interest in coaching was sparked in her junior year of high school when she was asked to help train a local private junior high cheer squad. Glenna loves health & fitness and is eager to share her knowledge enabling young athletes to obtain the next level within their sport. Glenna has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 22 years. They have 3 teenage children, all actively involved in athletics.
